Jess: Leland , NC, United States; Jessica Burkett is certified in Therapeutic and Hatha Yoga. She began practicing yoga in 1997 and received her 200hr Teacher Certification in 2010 and took her 300hr training in March 2012, both trainings were taught through Prairie Yoga, based out of Chicago, IL. She recieved her Therapeuitic Yoga Teaching Certificate September 2013 from Cheri Clampett, in Raliegh, NC. She also completed training for Essentials of Thai Yoga Massage Oct.2014 with Deon De Wet.Her primary teachers include, Tricia Fiske, Marinda Stopforth(Chicago,IL) Cheri Clampett and Arturo Peal,(Santa Barbara, CA) Deon De Wet (CA) and Susi Hately(Canada). Jessica teaches a blend of many styles and is focused on teaching the healing aspects of yoga in her Hatha/Therapeutic blend classes. She loves to bring the idea of moving purely in your range of motion to keep you healthy and pain free while you practice and live life. She incorporates ideas of Metta,Loving Kindness in everything she shares, to help others realize their true light and live in a more loving way with themselves and others. Healing in all aspects of the word are her main goal for you in each class.
